| Since 2003, the ¡®KANZ Broadband Summit¡¯ has laid the groundwork for cooperation among Korea, Australia and
New Zealand in the communications sector, providing unique opportunities for the industry, research and policy representatives from all three nations, sharing fruitful insights on the latest trends as well as challenges. |
| This year, Korea Communications Commission(KCC), along with the Korea Internet and Security Agency(KISA), is proud to hold the ¡®KANZ Broadband Summit 2012¡¯ under the big theme of ¡®Smart Communications: Revolution and Evolution¡¯. Under this theme, each country will present on diverse ideas on the broadcasting and new media contents, smart utilization of ICT, broadband and next generation network, Disaster Management, green and sustainable ICT, and new business opportunities. All delegates will also have an opportunity to participate in business matching program that will facilitate joint opportunities between like-minded industry, research and government representatives to explore potential future collaboration. |
| The summit is to be held at COEX Seoul, Korea starting from May 15(Tue) to May 16(Wed) with opening addresses delivered by the Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, the Australian Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy and the New Zealand Minister for Communications and Information Technology. Other events such as the Korea Communications Conference and World IT Show will concurrently proceed as well. |
